My name is Matilda/Ary (she/they), an artist and marine science student from Melbourne, Australia. I love everything nature/creature-aligned, and adore sharing my world in full-colour. I've been creating for over ten years, with experience and love for all kinds of art both digital and traditional. I am currently not taking any commissions as I complete my studies and finish outstanding artwork from my old queue. Thank you so much to all my clients for your tremendous patience!

TERMS OF SERVICE
The following information is crucial, and you need to read this if you are commissioning me! This is my current Terms of Service as of March 29th 2023, and is both accessible here, and linked on the PayPal invoice sent directly to you.These terms are in place to protect me as an artist, and you as a client. I don’t wish to be treated as a bank, nor do I wish to be treated like a machine! I am only human, and I want my interactions with clients to be as smooth as they possibly can be!My current turnaround time is 3-4+ weeks in my queue. Wait times are subject to change if my personal life is disrupted.UPON PAYMENT (or the first payment of a Payment Plan) OF YOUR INVOICE, YOU AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING:
PAYMENT TERMS
1.) ALL payments will be made through PayPal invoice or Square. I will not take payment through Friends and Family, and I will not take payments through being directly sent the payment.2.) 20% of your commission is non-refundable. This is to pay for my time organising your commission, communicating with you and your idea/s, placing you in my queue, and filling the slot you requested.3.) A refund may be requested before the sketch is started. Once the sketch has been started, I can only offer a 50% refund. I will not refund past the lining stage.4.) Under no circumstances may the client issue an unwarranted chargeback. Chargebacks permanently damage an artist’s reputation through PayPal, and can potentially get their account restricted, or even seized. Chargebacks should only ever be issued in a dire emergency – e.g: if zero communication has been had over a very long period of time (months). Agreeing to these terms you agree to not issue a chargeback unless the situation between us has become absolutely dire! **5.) Upon agreeing to these commission terms, you agree that your commission is digital item and cannot be physically sent to your home address. You may NOT use the chargeback system to claim that a digital commission was never sent to you.__ARTIST TERMS:__
1.) I reserve the right to cancel your commission at any time if I feel uncomfortable with either the subject matter (if changed after payment), or the client’s behaviour toward me. Client behaviour I will not tolerate is anything deemed absolutely, subjectively unacceptable. Cancellations fall in line with my refund policy – 20% non-refundable, 50% refundable only before the lines are complete, no refund if lines are complete and flat colours have commenced.2.) I reserve the right to blacklist any person I see fit if they treat me, my friends, or anyone else extremely negatively in any way.3.) I will not create art for zoophiles, paedophiles/’MAPs’, racists, or anyone else who hatefully targets minorities or POC. I will automatically cancel and blacklist any client if they are found to be any of these.4.) Absolutely none of my commissioned, or original works are to be turned into NFTs (Non-fungible tokens), or to be used in ANY AI training program/system.5.) Absolutely none of my commissioned, or original works are to be turned into merchandise by anyone who isn’t me, with the intent to make profit (selling my work), without a license. A license can be purchased, but you will have to contact me to organise one first.6.) Agreeing to these terms means you agree to have the commissioned work posted on social media. You can request against this at any time.7.) Agreeing to these terms means you agree to have the commissioned work printed out for display at physical conventions as a commission example. You can request against this at any time.8.) Agreeing to these terms means you agree to have the commissioned work printed out, and potentially sold as a print (for no more than $25USD). You can request against this at any time.__CLIENT TERMS:**__
1.) I will provide WIPs (Work In Progress) to you if you have commissioned me for a Primary Slot. I will not send WIPs if you have commissioned me for a Secondary Slot. Please make sure you check my Commission Information section for detail regarding these therms!2.) Upon receiving each WIP, the client may request unlimited fixes/changes if I have faulted on detail that has been provided to me. E.g.: missing a detail on a reference sheet. If I do not include a detail that isn’t clearly outlined to me, I will count this as a voluntary/requested change. (e.g: not including a detail that isn’t outlined in the brief, or reference sheet). PLEASE make sure you send me ALL amendments in one message to avoid unnecessary back and forth. If you do not do this, I may charge the voluntary change fee depending on the circumstance.3.) Upon receiving each WIP, the client may request appropriate changes/fixes/suggestions. I will charge a $7USD fee for every change past 3 requested changes.4.) The client MUST provide a clean reference sheet, a brief of exactly what is wanted/not wanted, and (if applicable) any supporting artworks/renditions of the character. This is to make for the best possible commission experience, and result!5.) The client must NOT resell the commissioned work for profit – a license MUST be purchased first.6.) The client may print, or have merchandise created strictly for personal use ONLY. No merchandise may be sold for profit without a license.

My current schedule is Sunday-Friday, 9am - 5pm AEST (GMT+10)My turnaround time currently varies as I clear my current queue. I will be next open for commissions in approximately November or December.

WEDNESDAY 29TH OF MARCH, 2023
I'm currently powering through a commission backlog due to personal mismanagement spurred on by mental, physical, and interpersonal troubles. I am working at full-speed to deliver everyone's owed commissions, whilst also maintaining an income through in-stream warmup commissions, Ko-fi membership, and Twitch subscriptions!My current plan is to open up commissions on April (x), or when ALL owed art from 2022 is complete. From there, I will implement a new system that will allow me to be exponentially more organised, and on-top of owed art. No future client will wait more than 30 days on a commission unless communicated otherwise, and as of April (x) a refund will be offered if the 30 days is exceeded. I will no longer be taking on extensive, unmanageable queues, and will instead work within my own bounds for what I know to be achievable as per my workflow and ethic.I want to thank my incredibly patient and understanding clients both past and current, and extend my apologies to those I have let down with extremely long queue times. I am continuing to work hard on managing myself and my business, and I am delighted to say that I am proud of where I'm going, and what I'm achieving.To my community, thank you for your consistent and overwhelming support, I'd be no where near where I am now without each and every one of you. <3
